Pre-Renewal Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. Information on how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into this competition is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  2. The competition is being run by MDA National Insurance Pty Ltd (‘MDA National Insurance’) ABN 56 058 271 417 of Level 3, 88 Colin Street, West Perth WA 6005, 
    Ph. 1800 011 255.
  3. The competition commences at 12.00am (AEDT) on Monday 12 March 2018 and ends at 23.59pm (AEDT) Friday 30 March 2018 (‘Competition Period’).
  4. Entry is open to MDA National Members (over 18 years of age) who submit an online policy amendment within the ‘Competition’ period.
  5. The MDA National Group is not responsible for any late, lost, incorrectly submitted, delayed, ineligible, incomplete or misdirected entry whether due to error or otherwise.
  6. The prize(s) will be awarded to Eligible Entrant(s) drawn at 12.00pm (AEDT) on Monday 9 April 2018 at 10.00am (AEDT) at Level 3, 100 Dorcas Street, Southbank, VIC.
  7. There are fifty prizes each consisting of a $100 Red Balloon Voucher (total prize pool of $5,000).
  8. The result is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner(s) will be contacted by telephone within two days of the draw date to arrange delivery of their prize(s) and will also be notified in writing to his or her last known address. The winner(s) will also be published on the MDA National website.
  9. The winners will be given three months to claim their prize. If in this time their respective prize is not claimed then a redraw will take place at MDA National, Level 3, 100 Dorcas Street, Southbank, VIC 3006 at 10.00am (AEDT) on Monday 04 June 2018 with the winner(s) notified in writing and published on the MDA National website. The prize(s) will be deemed unclaimed if MDA National’s reasonable attempts to contact the winner(s) via telephone during normal work hours of Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm (AEDT) are unsuccessful. A redraw will follow the same process until a successful claim is made.
  10. The prize(s) must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner(s) is unable to use the prize(s) as stated. The prize(s) are not transferable to another person (unless agreed by MDA National Insurance) or exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed as cash or other than as stated in the voucher.
  11. Red Balloon or The MDA National Group and its respective officers and employees will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained in connection with this competition, the promotion of this competition or the use of any prize(s), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

  13. The prize winner(s) must, on request by MDA National Insurance, be able to provide evidence which, to the reasonable satisfaction of MDA National Insurance, demonstrates that the winner(s) are Eligible Entrant(s) and has complied with these Terms and Conditions.
  14. Entry details remain the property of MDA National Insurance. The name of the winner(s) may be used for promotional purposes by the MDA National Group, unless the winner(s) otherwise notifies the MDA National Group at the time of accepting his/her prize. Eligible Entrants consent to MDA National Insurance using the contact details provided in connection with their MDA National Insurance policy for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the competition and awarding any prizes.
